Brother At The Window!
This piece started as a part of a diptych but ended up being a motif that I attempted again and again in my efforts to create a piece about grief. Losing a sibling at a young age meant a lot of confusion for me. Growing up around grieving parents and trying to grieve in silence triggered a life-long passion for gathering other people’s stories about loss and longing. This piece is very much a result of that process.
